HAFIS is getting started: Your scientific discoveries can solve urgent problems

This November marks the start of the first, nine-month run of the Helmholtz Academy for Intrapreneurship (HAFIS). After a productive kick-off with the project partners, we are now in the process of acquiring participants for HAFIS.

maKeIT is in full swing: Ahead of the first round of our Helmholtz Transfer Academy in November, the responsible parties for HAFIS recently met for a joint planning session. The consortium combines the expertise of Forschungszentrum Jülich, Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf, Gesellschaft für Schwerionenforschung Darmstadt and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.

We spent several hours working on our content in a relaxed atmosphere at TRIANGEL in Karlsruhe. The main focus was on our expectations of the project and thus also of ourselves: Motivated, we considered and discussed what was necessary to achieve the goals we had set ourselves.

In the well-prepared session, each of us was able to reflect on our role and importance within the HAFIS project. These reflections and the positive results of the kick-off enabled us to work intensively on the further development of content and strategy.
