The makeIT team travels to the HAFIS Midterm Event in Berlin with eight KIT research groups—a milestone after months of intensive work since the kickoff in September 2024. After a long period of preparation, the time had finally come: on November 16th and 17th, we welcomed the participants of the first HAFIS run to our joint kick-off workshop at the TRIANGEL open space in Karlsruhe.

This November marks the start of the first, nine-month run of the Helmholtz Academy for Intrapreneurship (HAFIS). After a productive kick-off with the project partners, we are now in the process of acquiring participants for HAFIS - via our new website: www.hafis.info

Researchers of KIT Graduate School "Enabling Net Zero" (ENZo) met in July for a three-day retreat in Bad Herrenalb to present the results of their "Real World Projects". 

Every two years, the EFFEKTE science festival in Karlsruhe invites visitors from young to old to delve deeper into a wide variety of scientific topics. maKeIT was also present this year in cooperation with the KIT graduate school "Enabling Net Zero".

The maKeIT team is out and about again: At "Bridge the Gap" on May 8, everything will revolve around how researchers at KIT can establish a better connection to business and society. As the new intrapreneurship program at KIT, maKeIT cannot be far away.

maKeIT is a new initiative for all KIT employees who want to contribute to a greater impact of KIT in economy and societyDuring TIL:Festival 2023, we will present our project on May 5, starting at 2 pm. We want to get in touch with employees, friends and partners of KIT.

PhD students develop climate-friendly projects in a cooperation of maKeIT and KIT Graduate School "Enabling Net Zero". The findings provide valuable feedback for the design of future transfer offers.
